Dear School Community,
The Adams County Ohio Valley School District is committed to the health and safety of our
students and staff. We want to inform you that we have received information that someone in
your child’s school has tested positive for COVID-19. We are working closely with the Adams
County Health Department and anyone identified as a close contact will be notified by the health department.
Peebles Junior High School (grades 7 & 8) will remain on virtual learning from December 10, 2020 - December 18, 2020.
If your child or anyone in the home would develop symptoms, please call your primary care
provider. If you do not have a primary care provider, please call the Adams County Health
Department at (937) 544-5547. If you have any questions, contact Peebles High School at
937-587-2681 or the Adams County Health Department.
- Please self-monitor and do NOT send your child to school or practice when ill and feverish (even with cold, flu, or allergy symptoms).
- Continue to wear masks when in public places, wash or sanitize hands frequently, and practice a six-foot social distance to help prevent the spread of COVID-19.
