In accordance to the law, ESSA, Section 1112(e)(2)(B)(C) ACOVSD is required by the State to comply with section 1111of ESSA, to inform parents of their right to request State or District testing policy regarding student participation in State/District mandated assessments. ACOVSD administers the following assessments:

• Kindergarten: Kindergarten Readiness Assessment - Revised2 (Short Form)

• Kindergarten: ACOVSD Phonics Diagnostic Assessment and OG Phonological Awareness Diagnostic Assessment (IMSE)

• Kindergarten - Grade 6: Acadience Reading

• Kindergarten - Grade 6: STAR Math

• Grades 2 and 4: Iowa Test of Basic Skills and Cognitive Abilities Test

• Grades 7-12: STAR Reading

• Grades K-12: Ohio State Testing Dates 2026-2027
