The Adams County Board of Education is accepting applications to complete the term of an open seat. Applications can be picked up at the district office and will be available online May 21, 2025. Please return applications to Regina Naylor at the ACOVSD district office.

Wednesday, May 21, 2025 is student's last day of the 24-25 school year. There will be an hour early dismissal. Please return any equipment or Chromebooks with your child so the teachers can complete the inventory. Have a great summer and we will see you in the fall.

UPDATE: All students seen at ACRMC for medical treatment have been dismissed by the attending physician. All students have been released to their parents.

This morning, an Adams County Ohio Valley School District (ACOVSD) bus was involved in a transportation-related incident. Emergency personnel responded promptly and provided immediate assistance to everyone on board. The safety and well-being of our students and staff remain our highest priority. At the time of the incident, students were on board along with the bus driver. A small number of students sustained minor injuries and were transported to a local hospital for further evaluation. We are grateful to report that no life-threatening injuries have been identified. Parents and guardians of all students involved have been contacted directly. Students who did not require medical attention have either been safely reunited with their families or transported to school. The district is working closely with law enforcement and emergency services as they investigate the circumstances surrounding the incident.
