Easter/Spring Break begins Thursday April 17, 2025 and students return to school Tuesday, April 22, 2025. OVSD will be closed Thursday, Friday and Monday for students.

The Open Enrollment window officially closes April 15, 2025.

The steps to apply are:
1. Go to ovsd.us
2. Click on Menu
3. Click on Parent Resources
4. Click on Secure Volunteer Powered by BIB
5. Follow the prompts
The cost is approximately $20. They are usually approved within a couple of days, but can take 2 weeks.
So anyone wanting to volunteer, go on a field trip, or other such activities needs to allow plenty of time for this process.
Adams County Ohio Valley Schools will have limited bus service due to areas of high water, Monday, April 7, 2025. Transportation will be in contact with those affected.

About 8:20am the electric went off in the district which triggered lockdowns and fire alarms. There is no emergency and crews are working to restore complete power in all buildings.
Grade Cards go out Friday, March 28, 2025.
CONTRARY to inaccurate information that was given to the public by a student (not an administrator). We are NOT removing wrestling. What we are doing is sharing the space with golf now that the wrestlng season is over. We do not have enough room in our buildings to have isolated spaces for every sport. Basketball shares with - well almost all sports, track shares with all the gym classes, etc. We are only STORING the mats until the season begins. I would encourage the public to ask an administrator if in doubt. Golf is just as important to it's athletes as wrestling is. We will accommodate all of our sports as they are all EQUALLY important and so are the students that participate.
