An impossible shot made by an awesome student!
The impossible shot is a behavior incentive used in gym class. If students come in and follow the rules of the day and actively participate, they could be selected for a chance to take one shot. If they miss the impossible shot, they still earn a behavior buck, but if they make the shot, they can choose between three things: a popsicle, extra gym time at the end of the day on Friday or five behavior bucks.
Today, Carl stepped up to the challenge and did the impossible! He made the shot! Carl is now enjoying a popsicle at lunch!

At the beginning of the school year, a vision of an outside learning area came to life. This morning, some of our 5th grade Science students had the opportunity to work in our garden area and plant a few plants that are native to Southern Ohio and also created a few micro-climates! A big shout-out to Mrs. Bissantz, Robyn Wright-Strauss from the Edge of Appalachia, and all other staff who dedicated their time to create what will be an awesome learning environment for our students and staff.
