Gabe earned an opportunity to try the impossible shot while in gym class today. With skill and perhaps a touch of good luck, Gabe did the impossible and hit the shot!
His reward?....Gabe chose a popsicle today during lunch!
The NAE Elf made a special delivery this morning for the big man in red!
Impossible? Not so much! Mekenzie earned a chance at the Impossible Shot while in PE and made it! She decided to have extra gym time for her prize! Great job
Jessa and Mason both earned perfect scores on the weekly math challenge that focused on multiplication facts. Job well done!

ATTENTION 6TH GRADE PARENTS:
The NAHS CCP Information Meeting will be held on Jan 7th, 2025 at 6pm in the round room.
This meeting is required for the student to participate in any CCP class for the summer of 2025 and the 25-26 school year. The student and at least 1 parent or guardian must attend.
There will NOT be a video waiver available this year. If you miss the meeting, you will be required to make an in-person appointment with Mrs. Ohnewehr before being able to participate.
CCP deadline for the 25-26 SY is April 1st, 2025.

Ms. Alle is spreading her wings and soaring to new heights in Math! Congrats on becoming 100% fluent in Reflex Math on your addition and subtraction facts 0-10’s!
Our third-grade classes have successfully completed their unit on the concept of multiplication. In addition, they initiated a community service project in collaboration with the Adams County Humane Society, aligning their learning standards with real-world applications. The students explored how multiplication can be used to support the animal shelter by solving relevant math problems. They also participated in a "Why, When, and Where" activity, discussing how multiplication can benefit the shelter’s operations. As part of this Career Connection initiative, the students explored various careers that involve working with animals. They also engaged in data collection, examining how these careers utilize skills such as math to support animal care and shelter operations.
In addition, the students collected essential items for the shelter, including food, toys, treats, and beds, as part of their community service efforts. The class also adopted four pets to shop for during the holiday season, further supporting the shelter’s needs. To enrich the experience, the students read Tails From The Animal Shelter, which provided valuable insights into the daily operations and importance of animal shelters.

The Safety Patrol kids are making a difference by collecting new toys for families affected by the hurricane. If you wish to be a part of this inspiring effort, please feel free to bring in a donation. They can be dropped off at North Adams Elementary or you can make arrangements with Mrs. Crawford to pick them up!! All donations need to be turned in by December 10th. Thanks for your amazing support!!
Looking forward, we will be having a Christmas Theme Week at NAES, starting Dec. 16th. Each day staff and students can dress accordingly to the theme of that day. On Friday, students do not have school. Staff will be participating since they will be having an in-service day. This is not required. We hope everyone can enjoy the month of December!

Pack your bags and come travel around the world with us, as we will be hosting our 2nd Family Night for the school year this Thursday, December 5th from 6:00-7:30!
Students will be able to experience Christmas around the world. There will be interactive stations, and we have word there may be a surprise visit from someone at the North Pole!
It will be a great time for the whole family. We look forward to seeing you there!
