Congratulations to Mrs. Wilburn's 2nd grade class! They collected the most pairs of socks for our Socktober Event! In 2nd place was Mr. Liming's class and in 3rd place was Mrs. Swayne's class. We collected a GRAND TOTAL of 1,592 pairs of socks that we will donate to the Adams County Homeless Shelter! Way to go North Adams Elementary!
There will be an early dismissal this Thursday, October 21st. Car riders will be dismissed at 2:00 and bus riders will dismiss at 2:15. We will also hold Parent-Teacher Conferences Thursday evening from 4:00 - 7:00 PM. If you have not contacted your child's teacher to set up a meeting time, please do so as soon as possible. We are proud to announce that North Adams Elementary has once again been designated as a recipient of the Ohio PBIS Silver Award for the 2020-2021 school year by the State Support Team.
In order to qualify for this award, NAE had to meet all the characteristics of a Bronze level school and implement with a higher level of fidelity. Tier II and/or Tier III supports are effectively utilized as needed. These supports are provided through a data-based problem solving process within existing team structures. We will continue to work to improve our implementation and response to individual student needs, as we hope to apply for the Gold Award in the future!
Don't forget! There is no school on Monday, October 11th in observance of Columbus Day.
The annual Title One meeting will be held Monday, October 4th at 3:30 p.m. in the North Adams Elementary cafeteria. The Every Student Succeeds Act of 2015 requires that each Title 1 School hold an annual meeting of the Title One program to inform parents of your school's participation in Title 1, explain the requirements of Title 1 and to discuss how the Title 1 funds are used. All parents are encouraged and welcome to attend.
The Adams County Ohio Valley School District will hold a public hearing on Thursday, September 30th at 10:30am at the District Exceptional Education Building 1221 Lloyd Road, West Union. The purpose of the hearing is to gather public input on Federal ARP IDEA funding for the district.
School picture day has been postponed! Fall pictures will now take place on Monday, October 18th. Please use the picture envelopes that have already gone home for ordering purposes or you can order online!

Please remember to fill out your child's enrollment forms! We still have 101 students without completed forms for this school year. We would like to have 100% of the forms filled out by the end of this month!

This is a reminder to parents that no one should park in the loop in front of the school between the hours of 8:45 AM to 2:30 PM. If you are picking up a student from school, no one should enter the school campus before 2:30. Please keep the front loop open for emergency purposes. Thank you.
This Friday North Adams Elementary will host a Kona Ice Fundraiser during recess times. Students will be allowed to purchase Kona Ice and the school will receive a percentage of the profits. Please see the flyer for prices.
These funds are used for a variety of purchases, including prizes and awards for student incentives. We received $192.75 from our Back to School night Kona Ice Fundraiser. Thank you for supporting our school!
Are you interested in volunteering at North Adams Elementary? There will be a Volunteer Orientation held on Wednesday, September 8th at 9:00AM. If you cannot attend and still would like to volunteer, please call (937) 386-2516 and ask to speak to Janes Hughes, our volunteer coordinator.
We would like to invite all area First Responders to participate in our first Patriot Day Parade on Monday, September 13, 2021 at 9:30AM. Please report to the staging area (Church 180 parking lot) no later than 9:15AM. The parade route will include both North Adams High School and North Adams Elementary.
