Today Ohio Governor Mike Dewine announced that beginning Tuesday March 17 all K 12 Ohio schools will close, and they will reopen on Monday April 6, 2020. This includes the Adams County Ohio Valley Schools. As accurate information becomes available we will update you. District Staff should monitor their email for further information and updates.

This is a reminder that there is no Kids Club tomorrow, Thursday, February 13th. The Safety Patrol dance will be held tomorrow for 4th, 5th and 6th grade students that purchased a ticket and turned in a permission slip. All students should be picked up no later than 4:30.

We continue to monitor our attendance rates. Please remember that students and staff should stay home for at least 24 hours after a fever stops. Hand washing, covering sneezes and coughs, etc. are also good practices to use when trying to avoid getting, and spreading the flu.
This is a reminder that school will not be in session on Monday, January 20th in observance of Martin Luther King, Jr. Day. School will resume on Tuesday, January 21st at 8:00 A.M.
There will be a parent/professional communication class offered at WUE on January 30th at 5:00 pm. Participants will review basic communication methods, techniques and styles to utilize when communicating with parents and professionals. Nancy Crabtree will present this training.
On Thursday, January 16th there will be an early dismissal at approximately 1:15 p.m. Due to the early dismissal there will be no Kids Club after school that day.
A CCP (College Credit Plus) Informational meeting for next school year (2020-2021) will be held January 22, 2020 at 6 PM. This is for all 6-11 grade students who will be 6 -12 grade students next fall. Parent and student must attend.
A Third Grade Reading Guarantee Parent meeting will be held Jan. 2nd at 5:30 in the NAE school library to discuss the requirements of the TGRG and how parents can support the school and their students in their effort to pass the Spring AIR test.
