On Tuesday, September 15th, 2020, the Child Nutrition Department will start to offer free meals, both breakfast and lunch, to all students of the Adams County Ohio Valley School District. This program is being offered in response to the nationwide waiver that has been extended by the United States Department of Agriculture. This waiver will be in effect until all available funds are used or December 31st, 2020, whichever comes first.
When funds are no longer available, the National School Lunch Program and the School Breakfast Program will return to normal. This means that Free & Reduced Meal Applications will still be important for this school year and we ask that you continue to complete those applications either online or complete the paper application and return it to your child’s school. Please note that this is for COMPLETE REIMBURSABLE MEALS ONLY!! Any additional ala carte items purchased will be charged to students at the normal ala carte prices. This program is only available to students.
We will notify parents via all online resources and via phone notification system when we receive notification that the meal programs are returning to "normal" status.
