The Adams County Ohio Valley Schools will conduct Kindergarten Registration for the upcoming school year. If you have a child that is five years old on or before August 1, 2025, please mark your calendar and plan to attend kindergarten registration at the elementary school your child will be attending. All three elementary schools (North Adams Elementary, Peebles Elementary, and West Union Elementary) will conduct kindergarten registration on the following dates:
Thursday, March 6, 12:00-7:00 PM
or
Thursday, March 13, 3:00-6:00 PM
A parent or guardian will need to bring the following documents to kindergarten registration:
Proof of Residency - documentation of parent/guardian’s address (water bill, telephone bill, etc.) A driver’s license is not acceptable proof of residency.
Child’s Birth Certificate
Shot Record
Custody Papers (if applicable)
It is important to register in March and plan for the upcoming school year. Please plan to attend kindergarten registration on Thursday, March 6, 12:00 – 7:00 PM or Thursday, March 13, 3:00 – 6:00 PM.
All students who register will receive a free t-shirt. We are excited to meet the class of 2028!

We are so thankful to have had Judge Spencer celebrate Read Across America with us today. The 4th grade students enjoyed him reading to them!

It is now time to apply for OPEN ENROLLMENT! Whether your child has already been approved for open enrollment, or you are looking to have them approved for next school year, you must fill out the appropriate paperwork. Come to our front office for the paperwork, or you can find it on our school website under the "District Enrollment" link for parents.

REMINDER: We will have parent-teacher conferences on Thursday. Be sure to sign up through your child's teacher. Also, we will have Kindergarten registration on Thursday. You can reach out to our front office for questions and to begin the process.

**NOTICE** Due to the timing of the North Adams High School Boys Basketball Regional Semi-Final game and to ensure the community has enough travel time to support the boys' basketball team, both North Adams Elementary and North Adams High School will have an early dismissal on Wednesday, March 5, 2025. Pick-up students AND town route students will be released at approximately 1:15 PM, with all other students being released at approximately 1:30.
If your child rides a bus, you can expect them to arrive at their stop approximately 1-hour earlier than their normal drop-off time.
Best of luck to the high school boys' basketball team, as they compete in regional play!

Please be aware that there has been a change in the in-service day scheduled for March 7th. It has been rescheduled for a later date, therefore all students will report to school on March 7th for classes.

Starting your day at NAE is always a great thing. Do you know what makes it better?....
Finding out you scored a perfect score on your weekly Math Computation assessment first thing in the morning! Congrats, and keep up the great work!

Yesterday evening, during the regular board meeting, school cooks from across the district were recognized for their consistent effort in making sure our students are served a great breakfast and an even better lunch each day!
We may be biased, but we feel the cooking team at NAE is the best of the best! The work that Pam, Tracy, Crystal, Teresa (not pictured) and Desirae (not pictured) do on a daily basis is an important part of our success at NAE!

It's BOOK FAIR time! The PTO will have their spring book fair next week. It will also be open the night of parent-teacher conferences, March 6th from 3:30-6:30 PM.

Braylon is 💪flexin'💪 his math skills on Reflex Math! Congrats on becoming 100% fluent on your additional and subtraction facts 0-10's. 👊

Check out these Math-magicians! They received perfect scores on their weekly math computation assessment! Keep up the great work!

We are very impressed with Harper! During the lockdown drill, Harper was in the hallway and took safety in a staff bathroom with the door locked until he knew it was safe to exit. He was very prompt and knew exactly what to do! Great job!
