Peebles Boys Golf Team placed 3rd in the County Cup today at Hilltop Golf Course with a team score of 335. This is the lowest team score in an 18 hole tournament the past 15 years for the the Indians. The Indians were led by Calen Vogler with a score of 81 (finishing 6th overall and making the all county team), Josh McClary with a 82 (7th overall) and Gage Bennington with an 85 (9th overall).

After a successful first year of the School Choice Program, we will once again be allowing our juniors and seniors this option. Students and parents/guardians will be required to sign an agreement to adhere to the program guidelines. These can be picked up in the High School office daily from 8:00am-2:00pm and they will also be passed out to juniors and seniors the first day of school. The program will start the week of August 24th.

The Adams County Ohio Valley School District invites parents, families, staff, and community members to attend our Annual Federal Programs Meeting.

Join us to learn more about the district’s federal programs and how these resources support student learning, achievement, and opportunities across our schools. We’ll also share information about programs and initiatives planned for the upcoming school year.

The meeting will be held 15 minutes prior to the regularly scheduled Board of Education meeting.

ACOVSD Annual Federal Programs Meeting 26.27 SY

The Peebles Boys Golf Team had a very successful 1st week to the season. On Monday they finished 3rd Place at the Eastern Brown Invitational at Friendly Meadows Golf Course with a team score of 359. Cooper Meade placed 5th overall with an 88 while Calen Vogler 8th overall with an 89. On Tuesday the team shot a 377 in the Adena Invitational at Jaycees Golf Course. Cooper Meade led the Indians with a score of 82 followed by Gage Bennington with a round of 89. On Wednesday the boys placed 6th place at the Clay Invitational at Big Beaver with a team score of 361. The Indians were again led by Cooper Meade who finished 12th overall with an 82, followed by Josh McClary with a round of 89. Finally today the Indians faced off at Home against the Ripley Blue Jays. The Indians defeated the Blue Jays with a team score of 167 to Ripley's 182. Cooper Meade was the Medalist with a round of 36.

🍎 Welcome Back to the 2026–2027 School Year! 🍎

As students return to school, we want to share a friendly reminder that ACOVSD provides FREE breakfast and lunch to all students through the Community Eligibility Provision (CEP).

There is no cost to families, and no meal application is required. Through the CEP program, every ACOVSD student has access to nutritious meals each school day, helping them stay fueled, focused, and ready to learn.

This FREE community event will feature health screenings, food, games, giveaways, school supplies, performances, a produce pop-up, and more.

🎨 Don't forget about the Student Art Contest and Showcase! Students in Pre-K through 12th grade are invited to submit original artwork, photography, or poetry centered around the theme "Ready to Thrive." Selected entries will be showcased at the Health Fair.
