Ms. Josey Scott and the Spanish students of West Union High School are planning a trip to Costa Rica, Panama, and Colombia in the summer of 2024. Any student that has successfully completed the Spanish I course is invited to attend this trip. An informational meeting about trip and travel details will be held on Monday, March 20th at 6pm in the Round Room at West Union High School. Statement concerning Social Media Threat.
On Wednesday evening February 22, 2023, a former student at WUHS shared a meme on social media with other students causing concern. District SRO staff were immediately notified along with the Adams County Sheriff’s Office, who were already working the case. The student was taken into custody and with the help of the ACSO, CPS, and Shawnee Mental Health, all determined that there was no threat to the school or anyone else. Due to reposting by those who received the original post, along with adding additional text, there have been further concerns about the safety of multiple schools in the district. District SRO staff and the ACSO continue to monitor the situation and there is no current threat to students, staff, or buildings.

Don't forget that tomorrow (2/17) is the last day to purchase a 2023 yearbook for $50. Remember that this year's book is an anniversary edition, so it will include pictures from the last 100 years of PHS yearbooks as well. You may bring a check made to PHS Yearbook to Mrs. Reed or you may visit Balfour.com.
Anyone who buys a yearbook before February 18 will be entered into a raffle for a free yearbook from the last five years (your choice of year).
