Congratulations to the junior high girls team today. They earned second place as a team! Lydia Armstrong, Stella Rhonemus and Ella Shupert were medalists today!
High school girls placed 3rd overall. Miley Smith earned a medal today.
Junior high boys all had times in between 12 minutes and the low 14 range, which is an awesome way to start! Braylon Scarborough was a medalist today.
Several high school boys had a PR today. Multiple returning runners had some of their best start of the season times too. All runners did an amazing job. Many showed great improvements in their times!

The Adams County Ohio Valley School District Board of Education will hold their Annual Federal Programs Meeting on Monday, August 22, 2022, from 5:45 p.m. at the Career & Technical Center located at 175 Lloyd Road, West Union, OH 45693. Following that meeting, the Board will hold its regularly scheduled meeting that will start at approximately 6 pm. 3. Student schedules are available in the office from 8:00 AM - 3:00 PM. You
can also get your schedules during Open House on Monday.
4. Final Forms are available to be completed now. Get a head start on these
prior to school starting.
5. First day for students is Wednesday, August 17, 2022. Doors open at
7:10 AM each morning. The school day begins at 7:30 AM and ends at
1:52 PM each day.

The WUHS OHSAA Fall Parent meeting will be held on August 15th in the round room at 6 pm. Parents are required by OHSAA policy to attend one of these meetings per year. At this meeting OHSAA, AC/OVSD, and WUHS policy will be reviewed and parents will have a chance to ask questions.

WUHS Lady Dragons are holding a canp this week for girls in grades 4-8. 29 campers have signed up to work with Varsity Coach Shannon Runyan, her staff, and players.
