Reminder: 3rd grade students will be taking the Fall ELA State Test on Tuesday and Wednesday this week. It is important that they are at school on these days. WE GOT THIS!

Looking ahead......your child's teacher will be sending home information about the Halloween parties that will be taking place next week.

We have a special shout-out to Maya, a 5th grade student! Today, during the lockdown drill, Maya was in the restroom. Once she heard our lockdown tone drop, Maya found an open room and proceeded to go in, lock and barricade the door! Maya's quick thinking is a textbook example of how it should be done! Maya received the "Safe" brag for doing the right thing!

This morning, North Adams Elementary participated in a lockdown drill. Students and staff did an excellent job during the drill!

We're ready for a fun-filled Family Night! Come to NAES to meet people from our local businesses for our Career Exploration Family Night that will take place on October 23rd from 6:00-7:30 PM. Also, Kona Ice will be on-site to purchase throughout the evening.👷👮👩‍⚖️🧑🏾‍🍳👩🏽‍⚕️

Today, Emily Young, North Adams Elementary 6th Grade Social Studies teacher , traveled to Columbus, OH to receive her award for being selected the Ohio Council for the Social Studies 2025 Elementary Social Studies Teacher Of The Year!

These 3rd grade students have rocked it out on Study Island for the 1st 9-week grading period! Keep it up!

Today, North Adams Elementary will be hosting a Rescue Task Force Training for local first responders. If you drive by our campus, you may notice first responder vehicles. Please do not be alarmed!

This morning, North Adams Elementary experienced a brief power outage. Electric was quickly restored and students and staff are back to normal routine!

📣 Early Release Reminder for Friday, October 10th! North Adams Elementary will be operating on a one-hour early release schedule this Friday. 🚌 Town Route & Pick-Up Students: Dismissal will begin at approximately 1:15 PM 🚍 Regular Bus Riders: Dismissal will begin at approximately 1:30 PM If your child rides a bus, please plan for them to arrive home about one hour earlier than their normal drop-off time. Thank you for your flexibility and for helping us ensure a smooth and safe dismissal!

If you see a few fire trucks on campus today, do not be alarmed! We have a few awesome community heroes who have stopped in today to talk about fire safety during student lunches!

Our 2nd grade students have officially done it two days in a row — 100% grade-level attendance! 🙌👏 That’s right, every single 2nd grader showed up, ready to learn, grow, and make today another great day at North Adams Elementary! 💚💛

And it doesn’t stop there — our overall school attendance continues to climb, proving that NAE students know that being here every day matters. When we show up, we shine! 🌟

The annual North Adams Elementary Veterans Day Program is coming up very soon. We would like to extend the invite to any veterans in and around our area to participate in the program this year!
