Third-grade students have been knee-deep in the exploration of beaver adaptations. One of the activities they completed during this study was a Beaver Adaptation Challenge. They were given pretzel rods and had to make them look like logs that were chewed in two by a beaver. The winners from each homeroom are pictured. Officer Brewer and our counselor, Ms. Heidi, joined in on the fun.

It’s Dolly Day! 💕 9-2-5 on 9/25! Our kids kicked off the day karaoke-style as they walked into the building, singing their way into Friday. 🎤🎶 What a fun way to celebrate!

Be on the lookout next week for a letter in your student's backpack explaining required curriculum training related to sexual abuse prevention and sexual violence prevention. For grade 6 students only, we are also required to provide suicide prevention and safety training. The curriculum is mandated by Ohio law and you have the choice to opt your student out of the training. Life lessons with Mr. Chad!
Ms. Heidi and Mr. Cheesbro helped Ms. Barber’s class see that every kid may need something different to feel safe and successful at school. Using a simple Band-Aid scenario, students learned that everyone may need something different to feel safe and successful. Such a great lesson in empathy, understanding, and recognizing that we all have different needs!
Wow! These kids have been crushing positive behavior expectations and are well on their way to being Indian C.H.I.E.F. Leaders!
Our bus driver, Ms. Ashley, stopped by and had the entire 4th grade completely entranced by her monarch butterfly chrysalis! 🦋
