2025 Veterans Day Parade. Thank you to all who assisted in putting this on and to our Veterans that came out today!

We had a wonderful morning with students, staff, community, and our Veterans for our annual Veterans Day Ceremony. A huge thank you to all who made this day possible. Special thank you to Mr. Bill Setty, our guest speaker, for speaking to our students about his story and the importance of Veterans Day.

Join us tomorrow for our annual Veterans Day Ceremony, where we are honored to welcome Mr. Bill Setty as this year's guest speaker. We come together to show respect and gratitude to all veterans who have served to protect our country, including those who made the ultimate sacrifice.
Doors will open at 8:00 for veterans and the public. Parking will be available in the large lot by the playground. The Queen Beanery and Peebles Ladies Auxiliary have generously donated coffee and donuts for veterans to enjoy while they await the ceremony.
Following the ceremony, PHS will host veterans for their annual Meal of Gratitude. We will conclude the day of recognition with the annual parade.
We hope that you join us for this important event!

Today, kindergarten learned about voting by voting on their favorite milk flavor! Election Day is a special day that allows our teachers and students to connect to real-life civic responsibilities!

Check out the upcoming event at the Edge of Appalachia!

We are so grateful that our very own bus driver, Elaina Gibson, along with
Cherokee Gibson, presented to our students the importance of bus safety with special guest, Buster the Bus!

Reminder to all that, due to Election Day, there will be no school for students. Staff report for district inservice.

Learning in action!
Pictured are some of the second grade students who enjoyed a hands-on learning activity today during their Enrichment Group block. They were creating equal groups in order to determine products of multiplication problems.
