Check out our learning! All of our 3rd grade students participated in a classification activity using a dichotomous key. Brittany Spratt from the Edge of Appalachia also gave a presentation on what the preserve is and what they accomplish there to preserve the habitat of this unique area in our county.
The Edge of Appalachia sits right here in Adams County and is a great resource for students and families with a love of nature! Check out their website at https://www.nature.org/en-us/get-involved/how-to-help/places-we-protect/edge-of-appalachia-preserve-system/
