A 👀 at our learning: Mrs. Thoroughman’s Kindergarten class is learning about the letter "M." They wrote m in sand and made the letter m with marshmallows.
Hey, hey, hey, we've got an author on the way! Liam, in Mrs. Cronk's 3rd grade class, has recently added one of his books to our school library. Mrs. Jones is allowing other students to read his book and leave reviews for him. He has worked very hard through the rough draft, editing and final draft writing process! So far, the reviews have all been positive! Thanks for sharing your creativity, Liam! And thank you, Mrs. Jones, for encouraging other students to read it and leave reviews! We grow together!

Mrs. Applegate's science classes have started a unit focusing on the pumpkin. They are exploring the parts of the pumpkin and its life cycle. They will be comparing and contrasting the various phases of the pumpkin's life cycle, as well. Nothing gets students more motivated to learn than the 'hands on' approach!
We have extra yearbooks available for purchase in the office. There are a limited number available please contact the office or send in 17$ to get one.

Mrs. Applegate's 3rd grade students listened to the story Spaghetti in a Hot Dog Bun by Maria Dismondy. They discussed the importance of being kind to others and celebrating differences. They each enjoyed a hotdog bun with spaghetti. Most students really liked it, even though it isn't the traditional way we eat spaghetti. One class invited Mrs. Brewer to join in on the taste testing.

Good afternoon, please see the attached picture to help with parking accommodations for parents who want to enter the building. If you want to enter the building during drop off or pick up, please stay in the car line until you pass the red line on the parking lot. If you want to enter the building between 9 and 2:30 you can park in the lot in front of the main entrance. If you have any questions please call the main office.
Want to get involved? Join the PTO! The first meeting is Tuesday at 4pm in the library. Due to changes in our dismissal procedures, you may park in the side lot by staff parking or wait until we safely dismiss all buses and car riders.
Welcome back for the 2023-2024 school year! School starts tomorrow, August 18, for 1st-6th grade students. The doors will open at 8:15 for student drop off. Help us keep students safe by not going around other cars in the drop off line. The tardy bell will ring at 8:45. Students will be dismissed at 3:15. If you are picking up your student, please have your white pickup number visible in your windshield. If you do not have a pickup number, please contact the office. KRA-R testing will start for kindergarten tomorrow by appointment only.
