Block 2 earned a whole class game of knock out for earning tallys through the week. To earn a tally the students have to be respectful, responsible and safe in Math class! These students have worked hard the whole 3rd quarter!
We had a blast and Mrs. Reed lost!


Third grade students studied the life of Ruby Bridges this week, as well as the history of the Mardi Gras carnival. They ended the study with a virtual trip to New Orleans to taste the famous Cafe Du Monde beignets!

An AMAZING demonstration of students being respectful on hat day. These students removed their hats for the National Anthem and the Pledge of Allegiance without the teacher saying a word.




Chick Quest continues in third grade. Today is the second day of the program and our eggs have been in the incubator for 7 days.
Students estimated the length and height of an egg and then measured to check their estimates. They did the same with the volume!
We appreciate the OSU Extension office for providing real life applications for our 3rd Grade Math and Science standards!
