The Adams County Ohio Valley Local School District has been selected by the Ohio Department of Education, Office for Exceptional Children (OEC), for a review of its special education program.
OEC is asking parents, guardians, and other members of the public to submit general comments or concerns regarding the special education program and services provided by Adams County Ohio Valley Local School District.

Kennedy from Mrs. Davis' kindergarten class is now a Math Master. She enjoyed her time shining on the red carpet.


The Adams County Arts Council’s theater division, the Appalachian Regional Theater, is putting on Charlotte’s Web. Auditions are next Thursday. It is open to children 8-17 and adults of all ages.


Students in Mrs. Applegate's math/science classes constructed the layers of soil using some extremely yummy materials. The peanut butter and chocolate chips represent BEDROCK. The chocolate pudding represents SUBSOIL. The crushed Oreos represent TOPSOIL. They added gummy worms to give an organic effect to their model.



Congratulations to all the students who participated in our spelling bee. A huge thank you goes to the Adams County Career & Technical Center IST program for designing and 3D printing this year’s trophies.

Good afternoon! The PES spelling bee will be this Thursday January 12th starting at 9:30 in the gym. We welcome the family of the competitors to come watch in the gym, we will also try to live stream the competition.
