Ryen Shiveley from Family Traditions Animal Adventure came and taught a lesson on various animal adaptations to our 3rd grade students. He brought a skunk, fennec fox, macaw and a squirrel monkey. He taught on the behavioral and physical adaptations, as well as defense adaptations that help them survive in their environments. The students learned a great deal of valuable information from the presentation and were able to interact with the skunk. Family Traditions Animal Adventure is located off off Wheat Ridge Road. Thank you Redbird Ranch for sponsoring this event
