The lunchroom and library windows got a makeover today!

Great start to the week when we see students doing good deeds!

Our students enjoyed the 1st Kona Ice day of the year.

The next PTO meeting will be this Tuesday, September 6 in the library at 4pm. At this meeting, we will be reviewing Title information and the changes that have been made from last year to this year. Additionally, if you'd like to become a volunteer within the building, you will need to go through a mandatory volunteer orientation. This orientation will take place immediately after the PTO and Title meetings. Again, all of this will be held on September 6 at 4pm in the school library.

2021-22 yearbooks have been distributed to those who purchased them. We have a few remaining for anyone who didn’t purchase one for $16. Please call the office if you have any questions.

Please take a few minutes to fill out your student’s final forms so we can have the most updated information for your students.

Good afternoon, this is a reminder that elementary school students will not be in school on Friday, September 2nd for staff professional development and all students will be out of school on Monday, September 5th for Labor Day.

Good afternoon, thank you for helping us have a successful start to the school year. We appreciate your flexibility when it comes to the changes we are making to help create a safe learning environment for your children. In an effort to help create a safer and more efficient student pickup we are going to move the pickup line further up the elementary driveway. The pickup line will now start near the elementary staff parking. There will be a sign to indicate where the line starts. This change is an attempt to keep the elementary students safe during recess and highschool students safe during their dismissal. Parents may start lining up at 3:00 pm. This will allow for buses to access the parking lot safely before dismissal. Please see the diagram on our building page for a reference. While in line we ask that you leave space for anyone attempting to enter the high school parking lot. To help with the efficiency and safety of our pickups, we ask that you have your pickup number facing the staff and visible as you pull in. Please make sure you are moving forward and allowing our buses to safely travel down the road. Thank you for being patient and courteous as we try to create the best experience possible for everyone. If you have any questions please contact us 937-587-2611. Thank you and have a good day.

The first meeting for PTO this year will take place in the PES library tomorrow at 4. They will be conducting nominations for positions. The next meeting will be Sept. 6 at 4 in the library. Title 1 will also be attending the meeting to go over Title 1 information.

School may have been out for the summer but our students were still working hard to help the flood victims of Eastern Kentucky. A mobile collection station was set up in front of the school for students/families to drop off cat and dog food to assist in helping Waggin' Tails of Whitesburg, Kentucky. They took in displaced pets until they could be reunited with families and distributed the food to local families. Our students collected 1000 pounds of food to donate. We also want to thank W.C. Milling of Seaman, Ohio for pitching in on our effort!

We would like to thank Bee Kay's Sweets and crew for generously donating 100 canisters of disinfecting wipes to PES! They are always willing to help our staff and students with whatever need we have. The disinfecting wipes are greatly appreciated!
Thank you Beverly McFarland!

Good afternoon. Students who ride busses 61 and 48 will be running late this evening due to a wreck on 41 and Conley.

Good evening. Thank you for helping us have a successful back to school night. We are excited for the new school year. We appreciate your flexibility when it comes to the changes we are making to help create a safe learning environment for your children. To help with the efficiency and safety of our pickups, we ask that you stay in the highschool parking lot until 3:15 or until our SRO releases you to the elementary. We hope having just one pickup number will also help with the efficiency and safety of pickup. There is a diagram on our facebook page showing the new pickup line.

We are excited for the new school year and look forward to seeing you during back-to-school night on Monday, August 15th from 4 to 7.

Thanks to our great custodial and cleaning staff, our building looks great and is ready for the new school year.

Good afternoon:
The ONLY town stops for Peebles this year will be the following:
Football Field, Fire House, Nixon Apartments, Gay McFarland Baby Sitter Stop, Dentist Office Stop (this is for only the top part of Shaker Run only) The area across from the Bus garage is NO LONGER a bus stop. The car lot is now open, we will not be able to use that lot, nor can they park in the street as that is a traffic violation and a huge safety issue. If you have any questions please contact the transportation department 9375445586 ex:17710

Attention Town Bus Riders. For the 22-23 school year, Peebles will have the following stops in town.
Fire House
Football Field
Nixon Apartments
Gay McFarland's Baby Sitter Stop
Dentist Office (Top Part of Shaker Run ONLY)
Parents or Approved Adult MUST BE at the Stop for students 4th grade and under. If no adult is present to pick up students they will be taken back to the Elementary School and a parent contact will be made by the school office.
