The deadline for parent input was Friday, the April 15th. However, due to being on break, we will provide a final extension. Until noon tomorrow, April 20th, parents will have the opportunity to provide input on their child's needs for the following year. The deadline for the 2022 Free Summer Meal Delivery program is quickly approaching. Applications have been sent home with elementary students today. Eligible households with children ages 1 to 18 can receive meals delivered to their house weekly for 10 weeks this summer. For those parents who have students participating in the Class vs. Class basketball games this evening at PES, please note that students are NOT permitted to be dropped off at the school without adult supervision. In addition, students are expected to follow school policies/behavioral expectations and must remain seated in the gym while not playing. Any student not adhering to behavioral expectations may be referred to administration. Thank you for your cooperation in maintaining a safe and positive environment during our evening events!

In an attempt to pep up our students and staff for the upcoming AIR tests, we will be hosting the following dress-up days and activities! We will have dress-up days every day for the first week of testing in April as well as the other weeks/dates of tests. REMINDER: Today, from 4-7:00 p.m., will be the final scheduled registration date for kindergarten students. If you need to register your kindergartener (just filling out the Final Forms does not register him/her), please visit us at Peebles Elementary in the library this evening!!! Every student who completes the final step of registration in person, receives a free Peebles Indians t-shirt!!!

Reminder: Today is picture day at PES! All students will be included in their homeroom group picture, so please encourage your child to dress nicely. Individual pictures will only be taken if the student is purchasing a package. Online ordering is no longer available; if you want to purchase a package (individual or the class photo) and have not ordered online, please send the paper form and money to school with your child this morning.

UPDATE regarding busing/dismissal: Due to the rain, bus evacuations have been rescheduled for tomorrow, Thursday, March 24th. Therefore, expect buses to arrive on time today, and please prepare for a few minutes of delay for tomorrow's bus arrival/dismissal. Thank you!

We have had some complaints regarding exchange of money at school, students soliciting sales to students/staff, etc. We apologize for the inconvenience, but we ask that you please NOT send outside fundraisers to school with your child as it is a violation of this rule in the district's Student Handbook, and we do not want to encounter issues of liability for stolen money, items, etc. Rule 11: Selling of Items Students are not permitted to sell, trade, borrow, give or take money or any items, to or from others at school or on the bus. Safety Patrol is the only group permitted to sell items at school. Students will not be permitted to sell items for any organizations/fundraisers at school with the exception of school-sponsored sales.... A student shall not be involved in exchange of any goods/services; there will be no sales/exchange of goods/services for monetary or other tangible/intangible products while on school property.

REMINDER: We know with the warmer weather students are wanting to wear shorts and lighter clothing. However, according to the ACOVSD Student Handbook, shorts are NOT permitted until April 1st. We ask that students please follow this district guideline. Again, NO shorts are to be worn until April 1st. Thank you!
