We have attached Ohio's guidance on Covid exposure. The chart outlines how schools will address exposures. A key note of the plan is when students are socially distanced and wearing masks they will NOT be required to quarantine unless they show symptoms or test positive. In following the guidance from the state, students that are exposed and are not wearing a masks will be required to quarantine for a 7 or 10 day period. As a result of this we are recommending that staff and students wear masks when they are indoors and are unable to socially distance. We understand that there are strong feelings and beliefs on whether masks should be worn and we have no desire to enter into that debate. We want our students in school. To be clear that at this time it is not mandated that students wear masks in school but is highly encouraged. We want to do everything we possibly can to make sure that our students can continue to attend school in person. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact Ben King at 937-544-2951.
