Students in the Early Childhood Education program are shown here working with 6th grade students who recently joined our junior educator program. In this program our ECE students are mentoring 6th graders from WUES who display good leadership qualities and have shown an interest in a future in early childhood education. These 6th graders work with students in our PK and K classrooms providing them opportunities to participate in small group activities under the guidance of their Early Childhood education mentor. This program is fun for everyone!!!

STEM club success! STEM club completed STEM bin activities this week. They were challenged to engineer an item from a task card using only the objects in their bin.
Congratulations to these third grade math superstars, 100% fluid in there 0 through 10 multiplication facts!

WUES will be celebrating the 100th day of school on Monday, February 5, 2024
These 3rd Grade Super Readers met their AR goal of points and scoring 85% or higher on all of their AR tests for the 2nd 9 weeks: Wyatt, Ralstin, Carrie, Maggie, Izabella, Caylee, Dawson, Jaxon, William, Ella, and Joselyn. Congratulations and great work!!

Your student brought home a letter this week about new required curriculum called Erin's Law and the SAVE Students Act. There is an opt out option. Please watch for this letter to come home and note that any opt out forms are due back to the school by January 30, 2024.
