The Adams County Ohio Valley School District will hold its regular board meeting this evening, Monday February 27, 2023, at the OVCTC beginning at 6 pm. The meeting will be streamed on the District’s YouTube Channel https://www.youtube.com/@acovsd/live
Statement concerning Social Media Threat.
On Wednesday evening February 22, 2023, a former student at WUHS shared a meme on social media with other students causing concern. District SRO staff were immediately notified along with the Adams County Sheriff’s Office, who were already working the case. The student was taken into custody and with the help of the ACSO, CPS, and Shawnee Mental Health, all determined that there was no threat to the school or anyone else. Due to reposting by those who received the original post, along with adding additional text, there have been further concerns about the safety of multiple schools in the district. District SRO staff and the ACSO continue to monitor the situation and there is no current threat to students, staff, or buildings.

Spring 3v3 Soccer, No Practices, Just Games!!! Sign up as an individual or bring your own team of friends. Only $35 per player. There will be a WUHS Athletic Booster meeting on Thursday Feb 16 at 5 pm. We will be distributing Dragon Pride Dinner tickets to coaches and getting ready for spring sports. The Dragon Pride Dinner will be on April 8th.

Ms. Tess Holloway's Forensic Science students analyzed Blood Spatter this week.
On Day 1 the students generated blood spatter using simulated blood and household objects. One Day 2 the Students used geometry to determine the angle of impact.
