Hello everyone, Just a few reminders!! State Testing is off to a great start. Please make sure your children get plenty of rest tonight so they are ready for tomorrow's tests. Today, Tuesday, April 12. we have a High School Track Meet as well as a Girls Varsity Softball Game. Varsity Baseball is at North Adams tonight.

Sports physicals will be offered Friday, April 22. Packets were distributed to students, please return forms and payment to the school office by Tuesday, April 19.


The Dragon Pride Dinner drawing will take place on Saturday April 9th starting at 2 pm. You can watch the drawing live on the WUHS Facebook page. Dinners can be picked up from 6 to 7:30 pm at the high school along with any winnings from the drawing.
If you have not purchased your ticket yet or want to purchase an additional ticket there are still a few available for purchase.

Parents and Guardians, certain Junior and Seniors have earned an incentive for passing all of their End of Course Exams. These students have been notified by the school. On the dates listed below, your child may report to the school by 9:45 am because all the remaining students in the building will be testing on those dates. Alternate transportation will not be provided, so you must arrange for your child to arrive at school by 9:45 am. Those students who have earned the incentive but still arrive at 7:40 am, will get to watch a movie and are allowed to bring their own snacks and drinks. The Adams County Ohio Valley School District will hold its regular meeting this evening, Monday, March 21, 2022, at the OVCTC beginning at 6 pm. The meeting will be streamed on the District’s YouTube Channel https://youtu.be/D6oZe6ElouE

The All County Arts Festival will be on March 23rd at West Union High School. The art show will open to the public at 5:30 with the band and choir concert starting at 7 pm.


Have you purchased your Dragon Pride Ticket yet?
The 17th annual Dragon Pride Dinner will be held on April 9th at WUHS. The drawing will be held live at 2 pm on Facebook and dinners can be picked up between 6-7:30 pm along with any winnings. Cash prizes totaling $12,600 will be given out with a grand price of $8000. All proceeds from the dinner will be split between the WUHS Athletic and Performing Arts Boosters.
Tickets cost $100 each. Only 300 tickets will be sold. Each ticket includes a steak, chicken or ribs dinner provided by The Ribber.
