Congratulations to the Varsity Girls Cross Country team and Coach Megan McCarthy as they finished 2nd at the SHAC meet today. Addie Shupert, Makenna Armstrong, Sadie Armstrong, and Sara Boldman made the all SHAC team. Lydia Armstrong and Emma Crawford finished in the top ten in the Junior High Girls Race.

Congratulation to Madison Taylor. Madison recently got her 500th career dig in volleyball for the Lady Dragons.

Congratulations to the Varsity Boys Golf Team and Coach Carl Schneider for winning the Sectional Golf Championship. They will play in the District match on Monday.

The Adams County Ohio Valley School District will hold a public hearing on Thursday, September 30th at 10:30am at the District Exceptional Education Building 1221 Lloyd Road, West Union. The purpose of the hearing is to gather public input on Federal ARP IDEA funding for the district.
Congratulations to the Varsity Girls golf team and Coach Marci Schneider on a GREAT season. They finished 2nd at the county and the SHAC and 7th at sectionals. Koryenne Blanton and Payton Stapleton were both named to the all county and all SHAC teams. Lauren Hoop finished 24th at sectional missing qualifing for District by one stroke.

Virtual Parent Teacher Conferences will take place at West Union High School on Thursday, September 30th from 2:30 to 5:30. Teachers will be calling parents and guardians who have requested a phone conference. Any parent or guardian who is interested in discussing a student's performance may email a teacher directly to request a phone call or call Mrs. Stephanie Stephenson at the high school at 937-544-5553 ext. 61010. When requesting a phone call, please provide your name, the name of the student, the teacher or teachers with whom you would like to speak, and the best phone number for teachers to call. Parents and guardians may also provide the best window of time for teachers to reach them, but please be aware that we will not be able to schedule a specific time for the call, and if demand is high at a certain time, teachers may have to call outside of the window of time provided. Please contact the school by 2:00 pm on September 29th to request a phone conference. We appreciate your understanding and assistance as we work to maintain the safety of our staff and community while meeting the needs of our students.
