We are now accepting 2020-2021 schedule request and course selections. All students were sent an email by Mr. Grooms last week. Please make sure you fill it out selections and email back your choices to Mr. Grooms at troy.grooms@ovsd.us For those students without Internet access Mr. Grooms has made the course selection forms available inside the vestibule at the school. You may stop in and fill out the form in person and return it to the container marked “Mr. Grooms Schedules.” Forms are divided by grade level and are coded by the grade you will be in next school year 2020-21. For example...…if you are currently a freshman you will need the form that says Sophomore Class Member. Also, enrollment into the CTC for current sophomores was also sent out via email. Send these back to Mr. Grooms via email asap. These forms are also available in the vestibule at the school. Stop by and fill out the form indicating your 1st and 2nd program choice for next year at the CTC and place those in the scheduling box. Please have these forms completed by Friday, April 24th.

This is a message from West Union High School. As students finish up their hard copy packets from March and April please return their work to the grey bin. The bin is located to the right of the main office in our vestibule. Please make sure your child’s name and the teacher it should be returned to is on every page. Please only request a packet if you do not have internet access to complete work through our online platforms. Due to limited contact orders if you have access to online assignments please do not call in and request a hard copy packet. Thank you again for time and attention to this matter.

This is a message from West Union High School-just a reminder if you need a hard copy of the April work packet please call our office at 937-544-5553 before the end of the work day Monday April 6th. Please leave your students name, grade level and a contact number in case we have further questions, as well as which day you will be picking up your packet, April 9th or April 10th. Pick up times are as follows April 9th from 9-1 and April 10 from 1-4. Please note that if you do not call in to request a packet there will not be additional copies available. Thank you for helping us navigate this time for our students.

Update 4.2.20 This is a message from West Union High school in regards to the additional closure of our schools through May 1 two to the COVID-19 virus. Additional work packets will be available to pick up at West Union high school on Thursday, April 9 from 9 AM to 1 PM and Friday, April 10 from 1 PM to 4 PM. Please call our school number at 937-544-5553 if you do not have access to the Internet and need a hard copy of the work. Hardcopies of the work are only available for students who cannot access their work on the Internet, please call our number to leave a message to request your work. In your message we will need the name of your student, their grade level, which day you will be picking up the work April 9 or April 10 and a Number to return your call if we have further questions. If your child needs something out of their locker to complete their work please leave that on your message as well. Your requested packet will be available on the day that you indicate pick up. To return completed hardcopy work, there is a bin at school in the vestibule to return hardcopy packets. Please make sure your students name is on all pages of their work packets, along with their teachers name. If your student is having Chromebook issues, call our school number at 937-544-5553 follow the correct prompts to reach our tech department. We appreciate your patience during this time and we hope that this message finds all of our families safe and secure as we navigate through this situation.

FYI for those registered for the upcoming ACT

Ohsaa just announced that the no contact period will continue until may 1st.  Spring sports are still up in the air as they are looking at all possibilities to try to salvage some part of the season.  If you have been working out continue to do so.

How do I turn in my schoolwork? 1. If possible please take a picture with a cell phone, and email the images back to your teacher. 2. You can follow the scan instructions on the pictures attached. 3. If you have paper packets please hold onto that work until we return. For further questions-or needing to know how you can pick up work, please follow our FB page for additional directions - additional directions will follow in the coming days.

The WUHS Athletic Department would like to thank Ag Pro in Georgetown for helping us to purchase a John Deere Gator for our outdoor facilities.

No athlete is to be working out or practicing on school grounds during the extended break. This is an ohsaa mandate.
