
We are now accepting 2020-2021 schedule request and course selections. All students were sent an email by Mr. Grooms last week. Please make sure you fill it out selections and email back your choices to Mr. Grooms at troy.grooms@ovsd.us
For those students without Internet access Mr. Grooms has made the course selection forms available inside the vestibule at the school. You may stop in and fill out the form in person and return it to the container marked “Mr. Grooms Schedules.” Forms are divided by grade level and are coded by the grade you will be in next school year 2020-21. For example...…if you are currently a freshman you will need the form that says Sophomore Class Member.
Also, enrollment into the CTC for current sophomores was also sent out via email. Send these back to Mr. Grooms via email asap. These forms are also available in the vestibule at the school. Stop by and fill out the form indicating your 1st and 2nd program choice for next year at the CTC and place those in the scheduling box.
Please have these forms completed by Friday, April 24th.

Ohsaa just released a tentative schedule for spring sports provided that school resumes on may 1st. Spring sports will start on may 4th with the season extending into June.

Please leave your students name, grade level and a contact number in case we have further questions, as well as which day you will be picking up your packet, April 9th or April 10th. This is a message from West Union High school in regards to the additional closure of our schools through May 1 two to the COVID-19 virus. Additional work packets will be available to pick up at West Union high school on Thursday, April 9 from 9 AM to 1 PM and Friday, April 10 from 1 PM to 4 PM. Please call our school number at 937-544-5553 if you do not have access to the Internet and need a hard copy of the work. Hardcopies of the work are only available for students who cannot access their work on the Internet, please call our number to leave a message to request your work. In your message we will need the name of your student, their grade level, which day you will be picking up the work April 9 or April 10 and a Number to return your call if we have further questions. If your child needs something out of their locker to complete their work please leave that on your message as well. Your requested packet will be available on the day that you indicate pick up.
To return completed hardcopy work, there is a bin at school in the vestibule to return hardcopy packets. Please make sure your students name is on all pages of their work packets, along with their teachers name.
If your student is having Chromebook issues, call our school number at 937-544-5553 follow the correct prompts to reach our tech department.
We appreciate your patience during this time and we hope that this message finds all of our families safe and secure as we navigate through this situation.


FYI for those registered for the upcoming ACT


Ohsaa just announced that the no contact period will continue until may 1st. Spring sports are still up in the air as they are looking at all possibilities to try to salvage some part of the season. If you have been working out continue to do so.

How do I turn in my schoolwork?
1. If possible please take a picture with a cell phone, and email the images back to your teacher.
2. You can follow the scan instructions on the pictures attached.
3. If you have paper packets please hold onto that work until we return.
