Today, we held a Walk of Champions to send our 10U SAY State Soccer Team off to victory as they head into Championship Weekend. Our Little Indians were surrounded by strong community support and Peebles pride as they made their walk. ❤️💙
These boys are now on their way to compete with heart and determination. With a win on Saturday and two more on Sunday, we could be welcoming home State Champions on Monday. 🏆

Today, our students did a wonderful job during our required safety drill. They listened carefully, followed directions, and showed great responsibility.
We know these drills can sometimes be unsettling, but our students handled it with courage and care. We’re so proud of them and grateful for your continued support in helping us keep Peebles Elementary a safe and caring place for all.

Today, Mr. Cheesbro, Officer Parker, and Mrs. Brewer suited up as superheroes to visit our preschool and kindergarten classrooms! 🌟
They shared the story “Lockdown Drill at Superhero School” to help our youngest students get ready for their very first safety drill — in a calm, caring, and confidence-building way. 💪✨
Our little learners listened, asked great questions, and learned that practicing safety is another way to be a real-life hero! 🦸♀️🦸♂️

Little Indian Letter Chiefs!
Teaching broom ball rules is stressful the first go-around every year… but especially when you hand a bunch of 5-year-olds sticks
Third grade students are diligently working on a local government unit in social studies. They are exploring local government positions that are elected, appointed and attained through the hiring process. As part of this educational adventure, they traveled to the Peebles City Offices building and listened to presentations from our mayor, a council member, the fiscal officer, a police officer, the fire chief and the water department.
We want to express our sincere thanks to each of these representatives for hosting such an informative event for our students. We also want to thank our amazing bus driver, Ms. Pam for shuttling all three groups today!
