We are excited to invite your student to our summer programming this year, Discovery Camp. Students must have been enrolled in Kindergarten through sixth grade during the 2023-2024 school year. Discovery Camp will be held for six full days this year on June 11th-13th and June 17th, 18th, and 20th from 9:00-3:00 at West Union Elementary School with students able to attend one camp or both. Discovery Camp is no cost. Breakfast and Lunch will be provided daily and there is no cost for meals. We will be offering shuttle bus service from all three attendance areas. An Exceptional Achievement Award recipient is recognized for services he/she has provided during school year to ensure students with disabilities achieve personal, social, or academic goals of the highest standards. Only a limited number of individuals or groups from throughout the five-counties served by Region 14 are recognized with this honor.
We are very pleased to announce that Carla Grooms, a West Union Elementary Paraprofessional, has been selected to receive the 2024 Exceptional Achievement Award.
Please join us in congratulating Carla! We cannot thank her enough for the hard work, service, dedication, and love that she gives our students!
The Forty-First Annual Exceptional Achievement Award Recognition Ceremony will take place on April 25, where Mrs. Carla will be recognized!.
