There will be a meeting for any 5th grader interested in joining band on Tuesday, October 20th @ 7:00 p.m. The meeting will be held at West Union High School in the round room.

West Union Elementary is kicking off our yearly fundraiser. In the past this program sent booklets home to be filled out and returned to school. This has been replaced with an online system. See information below.
This safe and easy fundraiser is 100% online so there is no face-to-face selling, collecting money, or delivering products. Participation only takes 12 minutes and your child will win fun and exciting prizes. Every student will receive a prize, just for participating. More prizes will be rewarded when goals are reached.
Please help now. It really will make a difference.
Go to https://www.schoolstore.net/sid.t?0000006181 to show our valued teachers your support.

Good evening, we would like to remind everyone that there will be no school on Monday September 7th in observance of Labor Day. We want to remind everyone to complete the online annual school forms by logging in to our Registration Gateway at cas.ovsd.us. We would also like to remind parents that we still have 2019-2020 yearbooks on sale in the office for $25.00. We will also have a brief Title 1 and parental involvement plan revision meeting on September 9th at 4 p.m. in the library for anyone interested in attending. We want to thank everyone for a smooth and successful start to the year! As we head into week three, the staff and students are feeling far more comfortable with the changes that have come about this year due to COVID-19. As always, we appreciate your support! Have a wonderful and safe Labor Day Weekend!

West Union Elementary would like to thank Satterfield Chapel for their generous donation. Through their support they have once again fully stocked the WUES Comfort Closet this year. As students have all sorts of different needs that may arise - from deodorant to toothpaste and even undergarments - the comfort closet helps students meet these needs. This year Satterfield Chapel also donated dozens of pairs of shoes for students who need them. The church has stepped up to help the our students and the staff of West Union Elementary could not be more grateful!
