The Ohio Valley School's District spelling bee is cancelled for Monday, Feb. 7. The reschedule date will be announced and contestants will be notified once the new date is confirmed.
The Adams County Ohio Valley School District will be closed tomorrow, Monday, February 7, 2022. This will be a remote learning day. Classified employees will receive communication from supervisors regarding work schedules for tomorrow.

Due to the expected ice and snow the WUHS Homecoming festivities is being rescheduled. Practice for the Homecoming ceremony will Be Tuesday morning February 8th at 7:30 am The homecoming ceremony will take place on Tuesday February 8th in between the JV and Varsity contests. The homecoming dance will take place on Saturday February 12th after the varsity game at approximately 9 pm.
Senior night for hs boys basketball, cheerleaders, and pep band will be on Feb 12th in between the jv and varsity games.
All games and practices are cancelled for tonight.
The WUHS homecoming ceremony is moved to Saturday Feb 5th and will occur in between the JV and varsity ball games and the dance will follow the game.
The Adams County Ohio Valley School District will be closed today, Friday, January 28, 2022, due to poor road conditions from overnight snowfall.
The West Union High School Homecoming will be on Friday January 28th. This year’s theme is Havanna Nights.
The ceremony will be at 6:30 pm for the announcement of the court and crowing of the king and queen. The Varsity boys basketball team will take on St. Patrick at 7 pm. You MUST purchase a ticket to the game to watch the homecoming ceremony.
The Homecoming Dance will start immediately following the basketball game and go unto 11:30 pm. Students, if you are only coming to the dance do not arrive any earlier than 8:30 pm. Parents please be here promptly at 11:30 to pick up your child at the end of the dance. It cost $5 per person to attend the dance and the dance is open to students in grades 7-12.

Congratulations to Alexa Rowe!!!!! Alexa scored her 1000 point last night against Fairfield. She is the 3rd Lady Dragon ever to reach this mark. WUHS is very proud of her and what she has accomplished over the last three years.

The Adams County Ohio Valley School District will have an early dismal, today Thursday, January 6, 2022, due to the incoming winter weather. High Schools will be dismissed at 11:30 AM and Elementary Schools will be dismissed at 12:30 PM. All afternoon/evening activities have been canceled.
