High school students in Mrs. Guillermin's class have been running a Freeze Dry Candy Fundraiser. They have been learning about the science of sublimation, and using language arts, and math skills to sell their final products.

The West Union 8th Grade students just completed a unit studying erosion and deposition. Best of all, they enjoyed studying glaciers with a model made of ice cream.

Math Modeling is a 4th year math class at WUHS that is designed to allow student the opportunity to apply math in a real-world setting. This year’s class worked on a project where the students have been researching various types of saving accounts. Each group was assigned a different type of savings account to research on the internet and a set of questions to answer about their account. Each group created a poster to organize their information.
Each student was required to complete a worksheet to gather information about all the different account. Each student then chose one of the accounts and wrote about why they felt that it would be the best account for them to use.
West Union High School Halloween Dance
There will be a representative here from Jostens on Monday, October 28 at 1:00 P.M. to meet with seniors to order their cap and gown for graduation.
Parent/ teacher conferences will be held on October 24 from 3:00 P.M. until 6:00 P.M. Contact the office to schedule a time.
