Math Modeling is a 4th year math class at WUHS that is designed to allow student the opportunity to apply math in a real-world setting. This year’s class worked on a project where the students have been researching various types of saving accounts. Each group was assigned a different type of savings account to research on the internet and a set of questions to answer about their account. Each group created a poster to organize their information. Each student was required to complete a worksheet to gather information about all the different account. Each student then chose one of the accounts and wrote about why they felt that it would be the best account for them to use.
