Every year, Beta club has the opportunity to go to Shawnee State Forest nature center to help clean up trails, refresh the cultural cabin, and repaint trail signage. This, just like last year, is not an experience they will soon forget! Big shout out to Jenny Richards (ODNR officer) for inviting us to come out. We'll see you next year!
8th grade had a blast going to the Cincinnati Museum this past week! Students earned this incentive through state testing. Way to go dragon scholars!

WE wanted to say thank you to the students in 7th grade that participated in the BETA Canned Food Drive during the month of March! 7th grade students collected almost 300 hundred items. Students that participated were treated to donuts and chocolate milk!
A huge shout out to our 7th Grade Spirit Shop for designing and producing the shirts for our spring musical, The Little Mermaid.
If you missed out on buying one, the shirts will also be available to purchase each night at the musical beforehand and during intermission.
Students from Mrs. Guillermin's Intervention Class participated in a field trip to Columbus last week. They visited COSI and saw science in action by interacting with exhibits that focused on simple machines, the human body, space and innovation. The next stop was the Ohio State House where they visited the place where our state government happens,. It was a rewarding and fun trip. Students paid for the experience by holding a fundraiser all year in which they produced and sold freeze dry candy.
The 7th Grade Spirit Shop has designed and will be making shirts for the Performing Arts spring musical "The Little Mermaid".
If you would like to order a shirt, place your order at the high school Monday-Friday during play practice. Orders are due by Wednesday, April 9th.

Students in Mrs Guillermin's 10th grade Geometry class celebrated Pi day by investigating the ratio of the diameter to the circumference of different size pies. They were also treated to the tale of Sir Cumference and the Dragon of Pi. Afterward they got to eat various flavors of pie.
