Congratulations to Olivia Lewis who was named to the all SHAC team for Softball


Multi-sport athletes display improved health and wellness, including decreased injury rates, improved athletic performance, improved leadership skills and teamwork, better attendance in school and better academic performance. Starting last school year, West Union High School has created the Dedicated Dragon Award to honor any WUHS athlete that has participated in three or more WUHS sponsored sports during this school year.

SHAC HS track meet May 12 at Fairfield


Come out and support our High School Girls Soccer team as they host their First Annual Youth Soccer Camp. Cost is $25, includes a t-shirt and 3 days of training.


Congratulations to the Junior High Girls, Junior High Boys, and High School Girls track team. All three teams won the county meet last night. Thank you to everyone that helped to make that a success.



This is a reminder that tonight, May 8th, starting at 7 pm at Peebles High School, The Adams County Ohio Valley Board of Education is hosting a community forum to meet the candidates who are applying for the superintendent position. We invite the public to attend the question/answer session to get to know the backgrounds and ideas that the candidates might have for our school district. The boys 4x400 team of Jakab Thompson, Griffin Brown, Andrew Daley, and Jaxon Baldwin ran a time of 4:18.73 at the SHAC meet Friday to break the WUHS JH record.

Today's baseball and softball games with Peebles are now canceled.

Tonight's baseball and softball games vs Peebles will be played at Peebles due to field conditions. Games will start at 5:30 pm

Some members of the WUHS JH track teams have been setting some new WUHS Junior High Track records.
Madison Stout ran 18.66 in the 100 hurdles at the WUHS meet last week to break the WUHS JH record.
The girls 4x800 team of Lydia Armstrong, Violet Randolph, Stella Rhonemus, and Ella Shupert ran a 11:42.61 at North Adams to break that WUHS JH record
Jaxson Baldwin threw the discus 115 feet at North Adams the discus to break the WUHS JH record
Griffen Brown ran a 2:29.82 in the 800 to break the WUHS JH Record.
The boys 4x800 team of Sam Griffis, Gage Knox, Ty Pennington, and Jakeb Thompson ran a 11:13.01 at WUHS to break the WUHS JH record.

The softball games vs Paint Valley have been canceled for today.

There will be a meeting for all boys in grades 8-11 that are interested in playing soccer on Monday April 24th at 3 pm. Open fields will follow the meeting.

Congratulations to the JH track teams. They competed last night at the WUHS Invitational track meet. the Junior High Girls were 2nd and the boys were 3rd. Great job!!!
