Math Modeling is a 4th year math class at WUHS that is designed to allow student the opportunity to apply math in a real-world setting. This year’s class worked on a project where the students have been researching various types of saving accounts. Each group was assigned a different type of savings account to research on the internet and a set of questions to answer about their account. Each group created a poster to organize their information.
Each student was required to complete a worksheet to gather information about all the different account. Each student then chose one of the accounts and wrote about why they felt that it would be the best account for them to use.

There will be a representative here from Jostens on Monday, October 28 at 1:00 P.M. to meet with seniors to order their cap and gown for graduation.
Parent/ teacher conferences will be held on October 24 from 3:00 P.M. until 6:00 P.M. Contact the office to schedule a time.

7th Grade Math Quiz is scheduled for tomorrow, Friday, September 20, 2024!
CCP Night is November 20, 2024 @ 6:00 PM in the Round Room at West Union High School. All students grades 7-11 that would like to participate in CCP Program for the 2024-2025 School Year MUST attend this meeting with at least one parent/guardian. There will be representatives from Southern State Community College and Shawnee State University at the meeting to discuss all aspects of the program and how it pertains to their institution. See Mr. Grooms, Guidance Counselor, if you have any questions.
For West Union Town route bus riders:
Starting on Tuesday, September 3rd, there will be some changes to the town routes in West Union.
For High School students, morning pickups will be by bus 33 for all 4 town stops, pickup times between 7:10-7:20am.
The afternoon route will be on bus 52, with drop off between 2:15-2:25pm, at all town stops.
The town stops are: Old Hospital, Old School Lot, McHenry Lot, NSide Church
There may be a 5-10 minute fluctuations due to traffic, ect.
