West Union Elementary will host its Veteran's Day Program on Friday, November 8th @ 1:10. We invite all veterans, family members and community members who would like to attend to arrive by 1:00 p.m. for the program. Our students will take this time to honor all veterans and say "thank you" for their service to America.
There will be an early dismissal on Friday, Oct 18th for West Union Elementary and West Union High School. West Union Elementary will be dismissed at 1:15. Students will be arriving home approximately one hour earlier.
The Edge of Appalachia Preserve will have a program on Monday, October 14th @ 2:00 on bats. The program is open to the public. The program will be at Creeks Bend Overlook @ 3223 Waggoner Riffle Road.

1. There will be no school for elementary students on Friday, October 11th and Monday, October 14th.
2. The book fair will be October 16th - October 22nd.
3. The Veterans Day Program will be Nov 8th @ 1:10. We will be doing a slideshow featuring students parents/grandparents that were Veterans. Please send any pictures that you would like included in the slideshow to your child's teacher.
4. 1st - 4th STEM Club will have their first meeting tomorrow. Parents will need to enter into Entrance 1 to line up. Please be here by 3:45 to pick up your child.
5. Parent Teacher Conferences will be Oct 17th and Oct 22nd from 3:30 - 6:30.
6. The WUES Fall Carnival will be Friday, Nov 1st.
Come out and support West Union Elementary at the Fall Carnival on Nov 1st from 6-9 PM! Proceeds will benefit classrooms and other projects for students and staff. Auction begins at 8:00.

West Union buses will be approximately 10 minutes earlier beginning Monday, September 30th for the PM route. This is due to WUHS dismissing before the elementary.
